Hello, I’m Tae Joon Park, Managing Director of SAMSUNG E&A Mexico.
Since entering the Mexican market in 1999, our Mexico office has collaborated with the Seoul office to carry out refinery, hydrocarbon, industrial, and power projects in various Latin American countries, including Bolivia, Chile, and Venezuela.
Under the slogan “Construyendo el Futuro” (Building the Future), our goal has been to contribute to the growth and development of the countries we operate in. In Bolivia, for example, we executed the country’s first natural gas industrialization project—an ammonia-urea fertilizer plant—which not only replaced imports but also helped increase agricultural productivity.
Most recently, the successful execution of the Olmec Refinery Project played a key role in advancing Mexico’s energy self-sufficiency. Throughout the project, we demonstrated differentiated project execution by applying our innovative strategies such as AHEAD, EDP, and modularization. Beyond business operations, we have also actively contributed to local communities through various initiatives—establishing Hope Libraries, improving educational facilities, and opening vocational training centers.
Going forward, the Mexico office will continue doing its utmost to realize SAMSUNG E&A’s vision of “Creating a Better Future with Advanced Technology.”
We support our employees to develop their expertise and potentials in their journey to become a global leader. Driven by their creative and audacious minds, we will strive forward to build a greater future.
