On February 4th, we held the event of Dia de la Candelaria (Candlemas Day) event.
Día de la Candelaria commemorates the Purification of the Virgin Mary and the Presentation of the Child Jesus at the Temple.
By tradition, the person who finds the Baby Jesus figurine in the Rosca de Reyes on January 5th prepares tamales and atole for this day.
