On January 5, we held an event to celebrate Three Kings’ Day, featuring a tasting of the traditional bread Rosca de Reyes and the distribution of small gifts.
This day commemorate the day when three wise men (kings) from the East followed a star to Bethlehem and presented gifts to the baby Jesus after his birth.
Also, Rosca de Reyes is a traditional bread eaten to commemorate Three Kings’ Day. According to tradition, those who find a small figurine inside the bread are expected to treat others to tamales, a traditional dish, in the following month.
